Did you go thru the truck. It is always a good idea to replace all the shock and diff. fluids with specified oils.

You can pressurize the front shocks, that will help the nose to stay up a little. If the jump has a kicker on the lip, then that will usually happen causing the nose down.

+1

It sounds like something is wrong with setup. I have never seen an 8T 2.0 fly anything but level in the air. Make sure you go through everything and build it how it should be built. The factory generally doesn't do the best job building them. Are you running a lot of drag brake? That could be the problem. Let us know what you find.

Edit: also make sure you check everything with the radio and electronics on how you would be running it. Your brakes/linkage may not be dragging with the servos off but could be with them on.

Could be the jump but he says his 8ight 2.0 buggy doesn't have the problem.

Good test hit the throttle let go (kit not running) push the kit if you have drag then your brakes are binding check the space between your brakes refer back to manual. Hit the trottle let go make sure that the brake arms push back to the neutral position for free wheel spin.

Is anyone running a Toro in their 2.0 truggy? I am looking for the right clutch setup and what restrictor are you using. I have a 9901 pipe and 20 header.

Default Waahoo! Doh*%$#

Just recieved my first R/C car today. Been waiting in eager anticipation for a week, like a kid waiting for Christmas. I bought the 8t 2.0 RTR. Right out of the box I noticed that one of the front wheels was turned while the other one was straight. I went to the manual and immediately took of the sterring rods and set them to the same lenght like the book said, now its worse than before. It makes sense to me to just get them both equally straight? Is there a way to be exact?

Do I need to completely dissasemble this truggy and build it over?

I am also about 175 pages into this thread, and the shock end problem that got so much attention was the bottom end, right? I have never been around these things before and the manual has more pictures than words, not too descriptive.

I would really like to break this thing in, before I get really old.

check your steering throw left and right, and see if you have more on one side than the other cause that, will cause that espially if the steering block is hitting the front carrier.

If this is your first RC.... Then make sure that when it's turned on that the front wheels both turn out a little bit, or have "toe out". You can adjust where they're pointing with the steering trim on your radio.
