Yes definitely this engine has a nice ring too it! The spool up is crazy, I rarely get to pull past 3/4 throttle before I have to let off at Bumps. You going to Motorama? I will be there in my buddies 26ft. trailer.

You know, Adam's trailer. I will be rocking a JL .21 in buggy and truggy Reggie. This JL .21 is a very nicely made engine. I will be pushing it for sure this year. Matter of fact my buddy Jim is running a stock JL in buggy and a Clockwork modded JL in truggy. Im going to start a JL posse.

Im using jp3 on stock jl in truggy. I will not try any other cause its so good right now, and still not at full half gallon. I have about any pipe if need be and still see no need to try any other.

I took a vid of my 3rd tank. It's not on the track, but it's the best I can do for it being Winter. I made a bunch of WOT pulls on a stretch of pavement. It was -8˚C , with a mild wind. I'm very curious of the track performance after this run.

I tq'ed yesterday at Reo raceway in IN, tight indoor track ...had a set screw back off....stock shimed, p3,dyn086, 6.5 restrictor ...im also running the JLR flywheel ....

IMO the stock 8mm fixed venturi is choking the power band ....i am dead serious the motor had way more power with a 6.5mm ...

motor guru's whatcha think?.....i take video at PNB!

on a small track the 6.5 mm venturi would have more kick as it will have a crisper faster response off idle...a reduced creates a stronger signal across the spray bar at lower RPM, which results in a crisper more responsive feel, especially on a small tight track...... On a big track where it can open up the larger venturi works great...
