Default Velineon question

I see that the Velineon ESC is supposed to be able to run sensored brushless. Has anyone tried it? I am looking for a low cost system to run mod SC truck and if I could start out with the Velineon system and then add sensored motors down the road if needed it would be a good way to get in cheap. I'm assuming the little port in the front shown in the pics with a plug covering it is where the sensor wire attaches.

Anyone tried this?

I'm interested to know this too. I didn't even know that thing was a port haha. Though, I bought mine because it was waterproof. Not because I need a faster motor in my second SRT.

Yes it works very well, all you have to do is plug in the sensor wire and go no set up needed Used it with a novak sensored 10.5 in the blitz and works nicely
I run a novak gtb now and think its better all around but the vxl is a great system to start out with, good bang for the buck
