I think the squat setting is to much on the rear although a friend did play with it on his HPI R40 and did get more out of the car. Regarding the front upper wishbone you could see Salven running it with a backwards angle on the worlds which seems to help.
About squat you can find it in the "husy setup book", a very interesting book which helps you to find a right setup.

I am currently busy with a DAX suspension on my MRX4
http://www.daxcars.co.uk/anti-roll-suspension-01.htm

My friend did create it on his bigscale and the results were stunning, almost no tire wear and lots of grip. Now he decided to build a complete new card by his own with a front and read DAX suspension.

Keep us updated on how it works on the 1/8th scale Roelof. Really cool design.

I am running the aluminum pulleys from Titan. They were great. They stay clean and haven't worn.

Hi there,

I wish team titan could make 27 teeth front side pulley for MRX4.

I wish I could drive my MRX4 with 5 percent underdrive.

Thank you for your reply.

(The 25T I mentioned earlier was the front pulley that joint together with one way unit.)

epowr, there is more to "Punch" then just a spring setting, though that is important as well. Gearing, two speed set-up, tuning, motor and other things all come into play as well. For instance, the Flash isn't quite as punchy as the 35+21 so getting everything spot on is even more critical.

My current clutch set-up for a Mugen 3 shoe.

Lightened flyweights slightly by cutting some material from the inside of each shoe. Most people just drill a whole in them, does the same thing.

Orion CRF spring. Set to .9mm from end of threads to face of the nut. Adjust as needed. I often go to 1.0mm or even more if I need more snap.

Yellow shoe.

At least a .6mm gap from shoe to bell. Sometimes go to .7mm. This was often too much for the old 4 shoe clutch but the 3 shoe can take it. In my opinion, this is one of the most critical settings.

Then space the inside of the bell to take most, but not all of the free play out.

Hi Guys

I was looking at some photos of the worlds and it seams that everyone had a can of brake cleaner on their bench, Collari had 2 cans, where is this used on a 1/8 on road car?
