Welcome Jon I'm sure to see you when I head to San Diego next month.

Racing at the Trinity ORL series was fun yesterday. I had a blast with WYD (brian) and his friend Chris. Both top notch drivers and great guys. I was running stock touring, Xray, 1/12th scale mod, RC12L3

I ended up 1-1/2 laps short of making the A main in stock touring. Took 3rd overall in the B main. I was TQ for the B main in 1/12th mod. Brought home that win pretty easily with some minor bobbles. My mind wanders in a 8 minute race and I forget my line...LOL

I'm sure a great time had by all. I am pooped today!

John

Let me know when you're going up there. Randy and I'll come up too. There's a parking lot race on the 22nd we may be attending in Norco, about and hour north.

I've already got the 22'nd requested off at work just to be sure I'll make the race. Jon & John, you gotta make this race!

John Fontaine me and Chris had a great time. Couldn't of been too much better unless I would have won and my buddy was 2nd. It was close at the line. I think it was less than a tenth of a second at the finish. Can't complain because I was almost a lap down and came back strong with my Fukuyama packs and Lightspeed motors laying the rip down.

Brian, atleast you didn't get anything doc'ed.. or did you? Did you unpack your bags to do inventory?? It was fun racing with you guys. I made things pretty interesting for myself. Some of those passing moves I made we're nuts. I can't believe I made it through a few of them. 1/12th was fast and sometimes I lost control mentally...LOL, you know when

Fun times though! I hope to see you guys again soon.

Nothing was doc'ed. I checked closely. The 1/12th scale was a wild ride. Those forget to turns in the S turn were pretty funny. Those damn cars took a beating yesturday.

Angry

That one wasn't my fault... I was soooo pissed, mostly for the fact that the guy didn't even say sorry for smashing into me when I was walking off the drivers stand and that the shop didn't have any spare T-bars. I had to buy one off the guys behind us. Luckily Jeff Jones was nice enough to swap it out for me while I worked on other stuff.

Scooby got smashed into as well and he was way off the line right in front of our pits. He was pissed as well. That practice was the most nuts I have ever seen....almost as bad as practice outside running nitro touring with T-maxx's practicing at the same time!

That was some bad driving on a few of the guys that were practicing. They had no business hitting people that were well off the driving line. Not saying I'm sorry either is not cool either.
