Broke the EB engine in today. Neddles are set by Ed and I did not deviate much. Top end is flush. Bottom in about1mm.

This is going to be a good one. Ed has done a great job. Use a P4 or OD 97T with an 086/9886 pipe. It was 75 degrees here today. Engine is running great.

Carb is sensitive...you only need to tweak the screws an hour to see a change. Engine goes from full throttle right to a nice idle when you hit the brakes.

Very smooth powerband and just keeps pulling.

Which one did you go with? I was thinking about getting the full mod but not sure if I'll still be able to get 10+ a tank in truggy.

Peter has a stock engine. 10 min pits are possible.

i wouldn't say the carb is sensitive, i found it rather easy to tune. I
do agree its not like some engines where you turn the needles and see no
change. I found the engine very easy to tune by sound, and that as i
tuned to needles the tell tale sounds would change making it easy to tune.

I should have said, responds to incremental adjustments...that describes it better.

yes it does, and i like it. Honestly i think its really easy to tune.
