[QUOTE=houston;6801845]havent had any issued with the silicone filling and the marvel mystery ?

Nothing yet. I also don't flood the engine full of it either. When assembling new engines, I use a dropper to control oil amount and placement so the engine receives the oil the proper places in the proper amount to ship and get fired up. After the customer gets it, it is up to them what they want to use to clean their engine. Most people don't because they feel the oil residue from the fuel protects enough between runs. I go through mine after every race weekend, clean it up, check things out and reoil the parts the same way I build everyone's engine. I can see some chemicals making the silicone expand and not adhering to the metals anymore but the stuff I use doesn't seem to be affected by the oils I use in the engines. Maybe I will take a filled crank and let it soak in WD40 and MMO for a few days and see what happens

i got the distributor list and yes there are some price increases and even a few revamped engines

team edition engines

and new hotter ranged glow plugs that hopefully work

the new plugs are labeled as h instead of f or g , look for them soon .

Default motor

whats the best after oil to run i,ve been using fogging oil for years in our expensive modded snowmobile race engines and outboard boat engines so i used it in the glow engines because it lubes the cyl and bearings nice and keeps the moisture out and the motor stays looking like new inside, not that it is a cheap alternative i like it over regular after run oil. who makes the best oil to use i would rather use what most engine builders use thanks for your time

P5xl/9853ss/41005. Really big track 9886/41021

The plus 4 is good but the 5 port just has that little extra.
grrrr some guys tell me the plus4 and some the 5xlt... i am in a dilemma..
If i buy the plus4 it will move my truggy fast?i mean i will have the same power with my dynamite 28 but with better flow in bowerband??or my truggy will move like turtle ?
i am between 5xlt and plus4 and i am a click before to order my new engine but i dont know which
also the dynamite 053 pipe is the same with the novarossi 9853?

Tested it on 2 different tracks, One is 150X70, The other was 160X60. Awesome little engine, Had people turning heads at our New Years Race this past weekend.

Mark I dont know if your aware but Novarossi advise against useing WD-40 in their motors. If you go on their web site and go to faq at the bottom of the page and then go to 13th item down the list entitled, What is after run oil & how do i use it. They advise not to put WD-40 or oils containing silicon in their motors. I know WD-40 is silicon free but perhaps their are other things in it not suitable for motors. Or is it Nova wanting you to buy their oils. Martin

wd-40 will break down the silicone ramp filler in the cranks and also eat the seal on the front bearing. i have tested and seen many things happen to engines and i say and recommend what i do based on actual experiences and not hearsay .

i am not "sponsored" per say by the people/companies that i recommend , i just promote good quality products and if i find a flaw in the product i will see what it takes to fix it unless it lets me down during a race over and over even after i had tried to fix.

rbmods after run oil is the best !!! rick is an awesome guy and is a frickin genius in the nitro rc world !!! his products are second to none and his modificatons , well lets just say they are vvveerrryyy very fast

happy motorin',
monty
