Ok I'm make a part list for my next project E T 2.0 was wondering on a couple of things. I only buy from companies that offer great customer service saves the headaches when things go south (not like trinity).

Brushless brand: Tekin, Mamba, Castle also size

Conversion brand: I plan to buy a new chassis therefore aftermarket is a option.

Batteries - Best Oversea Brand

I'm not exposed 2 any electric not popular yet but that's my next build suggestions??

I have both and they are both fun. Nitro is like riding a 2 stroke 125. seems to be about maintaining momentum. (something i am not good at yet) Electric is like riding a 450. Instant power, you can clear anything from anywhere. Both are fun, just different.

u can clear pretty much anything with a nitro engine, u just have to say in the throttle if you are hitting a real, big jump and have a good tune. nitro has just enough punch for racing, if u ask me u really dont need wicked power to race for bashing yes.

i have raced electric mod and stock before.

.....Well nobody asked you!

Seriously, you can't compare a 2wd electric stadium truck and a Slash to a 1/8E buggy or truggy. And no, 'watching' them doesn't count.

There are some sections of jumps like double double or triple single that electrics can quad and nitro can't.

no dude if u have a super rich bottom end if corse there is no way you are gone to clear a big double, most tracks that i know if have a jump that is so big that a nitro cant clear.

of corse i know that a 1/8 electric will require less throttle out put to clear a big jump ,big deal. i know two guys who run 1/8 elec buggy.

Rewrite that post, I couldn't understand it. Mostly the 'if' and 'corse' parts.

I am talking about with a perfectly tuned engine, electric is still faster. Nitro doesn't have the instant power of electric.

The big deal is that jump every lap will gain about 1 second and if they were run together (which they are very rarely), electric would have a 1 second edge every lap, which would add up to approx. a whole lap in a 30 minute race.

I know 10 guys who run electric and have driven about 5 different E convesions. Does that mean I win?

no crap i know electric has more torque ,i used to race electric offroad and i know 1/8 electric buggy has is more quicker.

yea if whoever that is driving a 1/8 elec buggy, can drive sure it can be 1 lap faster ,i seen some be able to drive them good and some not good.

the track i go to doesnt race a 30 minute main anyways

i think a nitro with a 4 shoe clutch, has prently of torque most of time when u have that instant spool. up you just end up messing up .

No, you used to race Slash, which is totally different than 1/8E.

Then go to national races and not club races if you want longer races, then you can get 45 minute mains.
