I bought 2 of the new design 2013 pipes tonight (now in stock). I just decided to spend the $95 a pop on them. Oh well.

Anyone want to buy my Dynamite Platinum 086hs NIB? $40 delivered to your doorstep. I was going to use it on the B5 but decided to go with the Werks. I'm sure it's a good matchup, but I just had extra Christmas money to burn and figured I'de get the 2013.

What werks engine was Kortz using at the Sidewinder Nitro Explosion? B5 or B7? Also what does he run in Truggy?

Thanks

That is not correct. The one a-main has just received from us is our new 2010 version of the pipe using much thicker material and with a braced stinger. The trinity one is if not a chineese copy like their version of the 2056, the old thin walled, non braced stinger version of the pipe. Hope this helps clarify things!

Regards,

Ron

He was running a stock B5 there. For truggy he also run the B5 even though he does not race the old lead slead very much lol! He's waiting on a Jew version of the truggy to come out, the old one is shall we say a little dated!

Werks, what is the proper way to tame the power of this motor for tight slick tracks? Carb inserts? Epa? rich HSN? Clutch?

Thanks, I have seen it run (mines still nib) and it kind a scares me LOL

You can calm it down by using a 2056 pipe. This pipe really smooths out the power and makes it easy to handle on loose surfaces. While still performing great. Also you can run lighter clutch spings and stay away fron aluminum shoes if you are trying to tame it down. .9mm springs and carbon shoes etc... Also adjust your throttle speed or exponential adjustment to slow down the speed the carb opens..you can try venturis but putting in a smaller venturi will help a bit but from how you describe it wont do enough. the other options will be more effective.........

You can also run a 2035 pipe. Great bottom and mid takes a litttle off the top.

Heidmann hit the nail on the head with his tips (thanks!). I'd probably start with the radio becase that's the easiest adjustment to make (and dial out if you decide that you want more power). Then reducer, then clutch, then pipe. You have to be a little careful with the reducer because if you start getting too small the tune can start to get a little finicky so if your new you might want to skip that and just move on to the clutch. The 7mm reducer that we include gives a good compromise between run time and power as it is. Hope this helps!

Regards,

Ron
