Default Fixing antenna on RX?

Is it possible to fix the antenna wire on a spektrum RX? Mine has been sliced a little near the bottom where it goes into the casing.

They are easy to replace with a 25 watt soldering iron and a new antenna wire. Cut the wire to the same length and solder in place. If the wire isn't damaged (except for the plastic coating) you can put some shrink wrap around it.
