Default vxl esc running brushed

How would I hook up a brushed motor to a vxl esc. I want lipo cutoff and have an extra esc.

most brushless escs can actually run brushed motors as well. the velineon esc (original or waterproof version) auto detects whether there's a brushed or brushless motor hooked up to it (whether or not all three wires are being used). it doesn't even have a motor limit . Looking through the manual real quick, there's a diagram on page 24 on how a brushed motor should be hooked up...
