vxl esc running brushed
 

How would I hook up a brushed motor to a vxl esc. I want lipo cutoff and have an extra esc.

vxl esc is brushless only

incorrect.

most brushless escs can actually run brushed motors as well. the velineon esc (original or waterproof version) auto detects whether there's a brushed or brushless motor hooked up to it (whether or not all three wires are being used). it doesn't even have a motor limit :). Looking through the manual real quick, there's a diagram on page 24 on how a brushed motor should be hooked up...
