WOW Ron that's an amazing deal! I've run the old B3 and it was great... the B3 pro is even better. Marcus' B3 with mods by CEO is even cooler... but i guarantee you it was more than 149

Happy Thanksgiving to all and current count of B5's in this saturday's king of the desert race in AZ is right around 7, thank you very much I'm planning on taking home some hardware, and a 1st place if i can ever get past Jaz240 (tough to do, believe me... he's a total sandbagger)

My OS V-spec will be over 7 gallons after tomorrows race and is still running strong. It may have lots of life left or may be on borrowed time and I don't want to wait til it's dead before getting a replacement. Even though it's been the best motor I've ever owned, I'm going to replace it with a werks B5. I ordered it today from A-main and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I'm able to get SH engines and Novarossi's at near cost, but a friend suggested the B5 and after reading this thread (each and every dang post) I'm sold. Thanks to all who have made this a friendly and informative thread.

Ok gonna break in the new B5 this afternoon using the Werks method. I will be using Byron's 30%, OS P3 plug. Any tips or pointers? I will be using a heat gun before every fire up and I will let it cool down between runs..

Read post 869, That is how I did mine. Basically the way Ron said to do it (Werks) Less than a half gallon and it should be broke in and ready to race. I gotta say this is the best motor Ive had so far. Next Sat will be its first race. So ill be able to report more then......

Just ran my B5 for the first time today.

Seriously folks....wow this motor RIPS!! Wow!! Responsive!!!! I had to get on the forum and pipe up about it. It's what I thought nitro "could" have always been, but just never experienced it this way. It was always the headache. So I switched to electric. Never knew nitro could be this easy till this motor came along. I can't ask for anything else. The price is even cheap!!!!!!! It truley has me excited about nitro for the first time ever. Break in was a breeeeeze too. Anyhoo....happy.

SOOOOO impressed with this motor!! I have had 3 and have not run a single one yet I keep selling them to friends while they have theres on order, but this week I will be finishing the truggy and finally running it. These things are taking off like wildfire here in the local race scene in AZ. Good job.

Easily, most of my friends I race with are running it and I have run their cars just not my own. Also the fuel economy compared to my OS is impressive
