No, haha unless you have mad skills. I won some races (with the 8t) over the "newer" truggies, but since I got the mbx6t its been "easier" to be in the top half.

-1st 3 holes on the khz v2 is the stock mounting position..AND THERES 1 extra hole past stock(thats the hole you need to be in).. kh tower has 2 extra holes making it 6 holes all together insted of losi's 4...so if you buy the khz tower you need to run it in the 4th hole in order to have the same losi guys setup..
-1st 3 holes on the losi shock towers the pros are running are stock also (BUT) they have 1 extra hole on the end making it 4 holes.. and they run the shock position in the 4th hole..
got me??

From the 1.0-2.0 yes the 2.0 is better but as far as lap times unless your track is blown out your lap times will be very close together. The 2.0 prob will be a little more consistent

Tc5 man, from my own experience, racing in the pro class with the 1.0 is a lot harder to consistently run fast laps against the newer gen II truggies. Not saying it cant be done, in fact I hope you do well and prove to all the "high dollar racers" that anything can win!

What class do you run in? I can see the 1.0 being very competitive in the intermediate class. But, when your ready to step it up to the expert/pro class, a newer generation truggy is almost needed.
