Out of respect for my dealers, I'm trying not to publish MAP prices, as their prices will vary. If you guys want, I'll publish the MSRP prices this evening.

For what it's worth, I've arranged a pricing schedule that will allow the dealers to sell the GX combo kits for around $25-$30 (US) more than the motors alone. This includes the EFRA 2072 pipe, header, seals, and springs... along with the plug, shim, and conrod.

that's the kit I bought from tnt hobbies. Fantastic deal for a new gxr-5port. Also just ordered some more of his reino's maranade combo pack. stuff works!

No they are completely different and not 1 part is interchangable. I still own a losi 8 and I've just started using the assendancy clutch on my 808. as someone else has said already there are no screws as the flywheel is two peice and the top section is used to set the springs and is held on by the clutch nut.

the only draw back to the system... you have to remove the whole assembly to change the shoes or springs, but in saying that you can have a complete assembly ready to go and then all it takes is to undo the clutch nut.

the trick I used to do on my losi to get past the screws locking is to use a small amount of Blue locktite and only just tighten them till the head touches the flywheel... never had a screw lock using this method

I pulled 2 new rods out of the package, one was a new pro rod and the other a std rod. Both were pretty much the same size. There was more difference in out of round than to each other. (not much) I was usuing a Mahr bore guage that measures down to .0001 inch accuarcy.

Let me start by saying that i have always run high end engines, mainly the OS Speed and the JP Racing line of engines! I was told by a friend that the new go techs wer doing good things, so i decided to give one a shot!

I called the Australian Go man Mark from Massive Mods and had a chat with him about the new MG66, the info i got from him Sounded a little to good to be true but i thought 'wat the hell', and went ahead and bought an MG66 with pipe and ceramic bearings!

The motor looked real good, it ran in super easy, starts first time and idles all day no worries, and power, well DAM!! The thing is a MONSTER it has more power than you will need, I am getting around the 9 min mark on run time and the motor is still really fat so i belive it will go into the 10+ with a good tune!

Now as i said i have only ever run high end mills, and had no real intention of switching, i just like to try other things on the market from time to time, but let me tell you after running the motor and the service i got from Mark i think i may be switching to GO for good! The MG66 is a winner

If you are thinking of trying a MG66 dont hesitate and grab one you willnot be let down!!

Love the RYNO DESIGNS plug in the Sig he's a very talented young man is our Ryan O'connor and a pretty damn good speedway driver also.

Yep he does some great work for sure. You got to support the good guys out there, and as you say he is a very talented painter, dam good prices aswell! Bit of topic though!

Forgot to mention how great the MG66 sounds with the GO2072 pipe, VERY VERY ANGRY!!!

I LUV my MG66. I'm up to around 12 to 13 litres. The engine is perfect, running the 6.5mm restrictor with MM's Amain C2 Blue Dot fuel & I'm getting just under 13 minute run times (& I have a VERY heavy finger). Have not had even one flame out, haven't even done a plug.
I find it easy to tune by following Mark's tuning instructions. Something I've noticed is after I last raced tuned it, I've now ran it for 1 hour 15 mins at an enduro, it was performing as good at the start as it was at the end. Last weekend I ran it at a two day event, cool morning, stinking hot afternoon, cooler late afternoon & never touched the tune. She ran like a dream.
