T9 for me was running really well with lots of speed and very stabile performance, how ever after some 7 liters (16%) of fuel, middle rpm needle started to leak badly. Of course this can be coincident, but another dude with similar engine usage time had the same problem.
Seems that orings on middle rpm needle have to be change every 5 liters at least.

Does anyone know if the Killer9 engine is a Novarossi
based engine? The crankcase design is different than any
that I can find, made by Novarossi or Sirio. Have any
of you guys ran this engine yet? If so, please offer up
any input about the engine you can.

Default Matrix RB needle settings

Can anyone confirm the needle settings for the Matrix RW. Silly me did not check when I started the "run in" and the RB website says 1 turn for the LSN and 8 turns for the HSN. 8 turns on the HSN seems very excessive and when the needle is screwed out to this point it is way past the flush point (about 3mm).

Thanks

Are there any engine gurus here tonight that
may have an answer to my question?

Hello from France,
the RB K9 is not manufactured in Europe.
It's a taiwanese based engine.

Au revoir.

Can anyone help me.

I purchased a second hand xray 808 and with it came a nice RB C6 L2G. Great motor very smooth. The motor came fitted with a gold coloured RB alu carb with 3 needles and idle (HSN, LSN, Mid range needle). Also has the alu venturi. As I have just rebuilt the motor I am unsure of the factory needle settings for this carb. All other C6's I have seen have a standard carb (2 needle HSN and LSN).

I have looked on the RB website and cant even see a motor that has a gold carb. It is definitley an RB carb. Also does anyone know the factory settings for this carb and which RB engine this carb is from?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Default RB Concept C12 pullstart

Has anyone used or is using an RB C12 pullstart engine?

Just on a bit of feedback on how she runs.

Cheers

The LSN is way too lean with the factory setting I had to open it half a turn (6hrs) I have the HSN set at a about 6 turns out from closed. I'm running 20% and temping 220-240F I don't run my engines very hot like others...

Default Relationship between RB and Novarossi

Hello,
I'm new here and I would like to understand what relationship is between Novarossi and RB engines. It seems to me, that RB takes some parts from Novarossi and makes the own branche of engine from them. Is t so?
What is the real differences between Novarossi and RB company and between Novarossi and RB engines (power, durability, quality,...) ?

I am running 16% and I was going to start with the HSN flush (which is around six turns) and 2 turns on the LSN.

Thanks for your help

They are both pretty much the same. You get some minor differences in things like case design, timing, crank shape and diameter, etc. Sometimes those differences make for a slightly superior motor, sometimes they don't.
