I was wondering though...the website states that any lipo that fits the rc18t fits this. I was curious if anyone owned an mxb and exactly which lipo fit?

The only area of fitment that concerned me was this image:

Makes it look quite tight. I know the dimensions of most lipo's would be slightly larger than a standard stickpack.
Hi, There are quite a few lipo packs made for the RC18T. Maxamps, Reedy are some of the campanies that come to mind for these. Also a search on Ebay pulls up a lot of no name packs. I'm using a pack by GE Power that works nicely in the MXB

Every time I set out to make a Detta part the guys there beat me to the punch, a wide bumper, 18R type suspension, on road conversion, just to name a few. And like I've mentioned several times before (getting to be a broken record here) tooling and production on a Detta off road chassis is neither cheap nor easy. It is generally risky to invest that kind of time and money in a small market company and car. Now, if you want to cut and send a $10k check my way I'll get right on a ST chassis for you
I would of hoped to at least get two for that price. I was just messin with ya. I Love my Tek18 OG

TC and ST require totally different bulkhead designs. The ST sealed gear boxes would get a new injection mold if I had to do it my way.

Have you seen how popular the Detta ST/Shark ST is outside America?

You are missing a trick there mate. Always liked your work, your one seriously skillfull bloke, but have a look outside the States if you are looking for ST popularity

In the UK id say that 90% of the entries for our 7 round National Series are Shark ST's.

The Shark carbon chassis was a good start, but someone needs to take the time to develop that idea. Lengthen it up a touch...

For the record, here in the UK we run to an overall width (including wheels and tyres) of 205mm and a wheelbase from front axle centre to rear axle centre of 185mm

Hi Cris- I'll keep it in mind but I'll say it again, the economy is not so hot for a project like this right now (new mold tooling is big $$$$$$$). A lot of my resources has gone into the 1/10 market to help off set the seasonality of sales that always happens in the micro market (micro sells good only during the winter months). Will have to revisit another time.

Hi pingman- Aitronics 94761 is one of the best. So good I don't even use a servo saver for road racing. If you use this it would act as impact protection since it will flex a in a crash.

Yes, the 94761 is that solid

Hi Mike, thanks for the reply buddy

Keep it in your mind for the future maybe? Everything you've produced to date has been amazing in quality and the ideas themselves, hence why id love it if you did consider the Vendetta
