why the switch Nate? what is bothering you about the car? My issue with it is the initial race roller build is crap(setup is decent, but quality of overall build is poor)..........the stock plastic in race roller form is crap, its all been over torqued and the threads have suffered bigtime as a result, so much stuff is letting loose it hard to keep a handle on it even for a club day of racing, maybe I got a lemon kit, I dunno. However, I could'nt be happier with the way it drives, its just the parts quality/longevity that kill it for me. I am in no position to be switching cars every 6 months, but it has let me down my last 2 outings. I myself am thinking of making a switch to the new Xray car, but I am going to finish this season with my Losi and start building a fresh 09' spec 808 this winter with Novarossi power of course

I was hoping to be there Saturday but it really depends on my knee. I was going to go to B&L but all my electric stuff is just junk and hasn't been touched in a long time. I guess i could go run one class of nitro on a 10th scale track...but to be honest this current layout at DB is so fun I don't see the point in that either. Not when they just rush you through a 5 minute qualifer and main down there!

The main is only 5 minutes ...maybe 6 I can't remember. I have only run my electric 1/8th there but I felt sorry for the gas guys because they got a very short warm up....Then again this could be because those were Friday night races. I love racing at B&L I just am not ready for 10th scale yet.

The gas class at B&L is usually less than 4 or 5 buggies. So it doesn't warrant having 10-15 min. heats on a fri. night when time is a major factor. It runs just like the elec. does with 5 min. qualifiers and a 5 min. main. You could call Bob at the shop and see if he would change it for the sat. race. There are 11 classes listed on the flyer with 3 qualifiers and A main so its going to be a pretty long day to start with.

Sorry to say this on the DB thread, but in response to B&L Friday nights...
With 70 entries on a Friday night at B&L, we just don't have time to run longer mains...and yes, we have to hurry some because we are trying to get finished by midnight. Plus, we have 66 electric entries and 4 nitro, so we obviously can't make nitro a top priority.
As for our trophy race...I hope some of you guys can make it. We had nearly 100 entries at this race last year.
