Default Thunder Power RC TP-610C

Hello all,

My old charger just decided to die - so I made a trip to the LHS and ended up coming home with a TP-610C.

What is the circuit board for and how am I to use it?

Thanks a lot.

That circuit board device is the connector board for a number of different balancing connectors(one type on it is the Align(?) connector that MC & several others use on their batteries & the others are Thunder Power's own balance connector, both for handling 2-6 cell packs). you just plug the pack's balance connector to the appropriate one on that board(as well as the main charge leads to the main wires from the battery) & then start it up....

Your new charger is a balancing charger - charges and balances lipo at same time which is the best way to maintain a lipo battery. The board is for the lipo's balance connection as mentioned above - you connect both sets of wires - the main power and the balance wires to balance charge.

Does anyone know if you can charge without using the balancer with this charger?

Have you read the manual that comes with the charger ?

Most will allow a non balance charge including this charger

Cheers
