....That is one person's opinion. Sounds like sour grapes too me . I think they are excellent quality...not high maintainance at all, but in saying that they are a race car and you need to look after them. Just like anything really .

You WILL be satisfied with the Losi Truggy. If you get a Revo you will be constantly asking yourself, "Hmmm...should I have gone with the 8T?" When you own the 8T you will be constantly thinking this, "Holy Cow! This thing is awesome. There isn't a MT in the world that could keep up with this thing."

Plus look at the exploded diagrams of each. It will be clear how easy working on the 8T will be. Monster trucks have too much tied together chassis wise to make maintenance easy.

If you have the slightest intentions of racing go with the 8T. If you don't intend to go to a race track then I'd go with the 8T. LOL.

i had a revo b4 i raced, that thing broke all the time, i even played around at the local track, still broke on simple stuff.

since i started racing(started losi, will end losi) ive broken a small amount of parts and those are because of a hellasious(spelling wrong) crash. and its usually something so easy. since getting the 8t 2.0 tho i have broken ONE part, which again you should of seen the crash i did LOL, never drive when your really sick and your driving a buggy your not used to the same day, BAD STUFF...

Last weekend we had a guy that had just picked up his RTR 8T. Since it was new to him he was asked to run in the MT class as truggy was full. He won every heat.

I have a Revo and raced it for about a year. My first qual with the truggy I put down a lap 2 seconds faster then anything I have ever run. I enjoyed my Revo for the most part.. especially after I dropped the 18tz in it, but I doubt i'll be giving up my 2.0 to go back to one. It's a wicked ride.

The new radio tray places the servo 8mm farther outward than the 1.0, which puts the servo on the flat of the chassis and not in the milled spot. Because of the chamfer on the chassis sides, there is no way for them to machine it any further. Easiest way to check is, with the tray in, remove the radio tray side mud guard and check for clearence. You want about 1mm of clearence so it won't hit when the chassis flexes.
Check out extreme racing carbon servo tray if you still have problems it raised the servo from the chasis
TEAM LOSI 8IGHT 2.0 CARBON FIBER SERVO TRAY SUPPORT
THIS CARBON FIBER SUPPORT TRAY IS 2.5mm THICK. THIS SUPPORT TRAY RAISES THE SERVOS FROM HITTING THE CHASSIS AND ALSO STIFFENS THE TRAY FOR LESS FLEX. SUPPORT GOES AROUND BOTH THE STEERING SERVO. THIS SUPPORT WILL WORK WITH EITHER THE 8IGHT 2.0 OR 8IGHT-T 2.0.

you dont need a support, the tray is stiff enough. there is no flex, its the servo hitting the chassis.

I feel there is plenty of flex in the tray at the throttle servo area. For me to get the truck stopped the way I like it, the end point for brakes causes visable flex. This is not a setting that causes lock up, just medium strong brakes. Maybe I need to try after market brake rotors.

not sure what you have end poibnts set on but if you set yur endpoints lower and then use your adjustable brake bias by turning you can get the truggy locking up under braking with no flex at all ..
have you tried this at all ?

saying this touch wood i javent yet broken a radio tray in my truggy / buggy

you disc's are Glazed over if you need to pull that much EPA to get the truck to brake effectively.

Or the fuel tubeing on the pull rods is breaking down, or the pads have too much slop in them and they come in too late. I change the fuel tubeing all the time.

Yes it all fits. Do yourself a favor and install an eb mods head button it's the best 40 buck upgrade I have ever done. It says it's for the mugen ninja engine but it's the same as the vspec. I put one in my speed and it was a noticable increase in power and torque. It will increase your mileage because you are not on the gas as hard.

Would I still use the p3 with the eb head button?
