I don't know how they compare. i think a Ninja is along the lines of a vspec. the extech is a damn good mill as long as it's sealed up and treated right.
i got my new piston and sleeve today. have put about 3 tanks thru the 24 and this time around i think it's going to be faster. I started out last time with an air leak and don't think the initial tanks were run right. Its already running strong and smoking up my street haha..idles like a charm and so far so good.
thanks to Chad and the quick shipping btw..

Just bought the new Ex-Tech .21 race prepped. My question is. Do they really want you to tune these things from the low end needle first? I have never tuned an engine like that. Is there something special about the engine??

Nothing I am aware of. Tune it like you tune any other nitro. I have 2 .24's and they were very simple to tune. Make sure to run 30% as they are pre shimmed for it.

What would be necessary to change if you are going to run 20%. I have been running 20% now on my fully modded .21 for about a 1/4 gallon and it seems good.

"You can run 20%. You will need to remove 1 head shim.
The fully modified comes partially broken in.. I would run another 4-6 tanks rich before really laying in to it..
I still think you should run 30%.. for one, more power and two, will run cooler.."

Guys, have a quick ? Been running the .21 FM with a Dyn 086 pipe with great results and pitting 8-10 minutes depending on track. I picked up a big boy pipe and tried it out today. WOW! who knew this motor had that much in it!! It really woke it up EVERYWHERE! But my fuel mileage really suffered today. After 6 min quals, tank would be dry. Gonna give it another shot as I love how the motr picked up everywhere, but can't handle the drop in run time. Any one else seen this happen? Most I heard gained run time with this pipe.
Thanks
