im not really yet convinced on the motor i like it but ... i need compare to another car when running side by side

we run Barmah 39 fuel made by nitro x for barmah r/c.
another thing is temp the lower the temp the more the run time the more the temp the less and that can be achived by different fuels used as we do have some fuels in OZ which are total garbage i wont mention any of them not my job to.
The better the fuel the leaner you can run without damage to the engine.
Go see Dave at ryper and he will lead you in the right direction with tune as no one is an expert and some know more than others

fair enough , i only run the fuel dave has anyway so thats no real issue as for tuning , i would like to think i have no problems , what i have now done is started to play with clutch set up , what i was thinking was the clutch was engaging to early and bogging the engine down . the weather is crap so unfortantly not what i wanted to happen is now i have to mess around with at the national titles as this is the engine i will be using ...

okey , im now very happy with this motor , changed pipe and clutch set up and now the truggy is awsome
... 2047 pipe is the ticket , bucket loads of power and lots of top end , after these changes i was really surprised with this engine ho much go it had been a 4 port powering the truggy along

I've tried a number of different pipes and the JP-1 is one of my favorites so far until I can get my hands on the Odonnell pipe
... But until then the JP-1 and the Associated 2035 are both good.
I've also put an aftermarket OD head on my SS 21.. I did lower the temps, probably because your getting a reading further away from the plug, but you have to open up all 5 holes on the aftermarket head a little. The 4 mounting holes are wider on the engine, and the center of the button where the plug goes in is also wider, but it works fine...

The head is the best the black head is low so low cg and it sits flush with the truggy bodies so on rolls you will never break the head no chance .

thats fair enough ....
thats why im asking because the werks head i have is orange and matches my paint scheme
