Is this true? I thought the 1.5 degree was in the hubs already?

For most rc 2 degree is standard, but I didnt notice with the SC10 that they had any toe in designed.

I have the GT2 stuff, I was asking if the other hubs would give me one more degree or take away a half?

If anything they will add more toe-in. But to much toe-in can hurt you going through a corner. It will make it stable on power. On my SC10 I am running standard rear arms with B44 0.5 degree toe in hubs.

I just checked the batt. I was real close to shut down..6.57volts. Now Im wondering if I pulled a rookie mistake & put in a uncharged battery...lol

Just got back from the Nationals and I saw box stock SC10s with stock tires doing pretty well against factory setup trucks. Don't quote me but I think there were 8 SC10s and 2 Slashs in the mains. Goosebumps were the norm but I did see a couple sets of Prolines. I qualified 2nd and I run the stock setup for hubs. I did put one degree of anti-squat in. Truck was dialed in for the mains. I'll post the setup when I catch up on my sleep! Oh and my truck made the Car Action webpage with race coverage and pics.

Do you think with the upgraded tires that are slowly coming out the hub mod may not be necessary anymore. Or is everyone finally getting use to these trucks and figuring out it takes finesse not brute power to get these around the track.

Side note: You put anything in the hands of factory team drivers or very experienced rc'ers and they make them look so good on the track.

There was 1 SCT that was not an SC10 or a Slash in the A Mains.

hey guys just got a sc10 and will start putting it together. I know these questions have been asked but it will take forever to read all the threads.

Is the chassis plate a must have?
what pinion is a good place to start with a 17.5 brushless and lipo?
what problems has everyone been having and what can I do to resolve these during the build?
does anyone have a good setup for dirt

If I have missed anything feel free to chime in and let me know

Thanks

I've never thought the truck needed the hub replacement in stock. Yes the tires help a bunch and of course better drivers can make anything look good. This is the first hard packed rutted surface I've driven on and I did change my normal setup for it. We could take the trucks wide open down the straight and never lift in the big sweeper dip uphill off camber whatever you want to call that! Hopefully there will be some video so you guys can see how these things worked.

rcmark, Would you say that track up there had more bite than Smac track? I have a sc10 i'm gonna bring down to b&l and run at smac this winter, And don't wanna buy a bunch of those rear (gotta have sparts) if the truck doesn't need it.
