Hi I have a RB K 12 (says that on the side of the case, assuming its a .12) and the pull start broke, will a backplate from a c12 fit? Is there a cheap after market one that fits, just looking to get rid of the pull start. any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone ran/tested the Classico 9 onroad? I'm thinking of purchasing this setup when I have money.

yes people are running rb engines, in offroad rb is very "famous" among the racers, but when it comes to onroad you will not find many people in America running rb engines, onroad rb engines are extencivly used in europe though

I ment to say anyone on this FORUM even running RB? I've owned the RB S5, S7 offroad buggy engines, RB X12, and RB V12 3port std Rody tuned .12. All great engines, but just not sure about their Classico9 engine/pipe package. I'm really curious as to how much power it puts down because for the price it's better than taking a risk to buy a used engine thats not been serviced or a $500+ engine when money is tight or won't be able to use it a lot.

I have a just broken in rb s5. I believe about a gallon. Stock carb 8 mm restictor, still has a slight bit of mechanical pinch and tons of compression. Is is common for a front bearing to go bad in such short time? I like this engine and wanted to find out more about it and if some other pipe configurations too. I noticed the engine ran different with this engine more than any other engine I have ran before. What brand bearing should I get, and do you think I should put a rear bearing in it too cause I feel that bearing failed rather prematurely.
I have not torn engine apart and it ran warmer in the day like 260-270 and did not leak any oil then It was retuned and I noticed a bit of oil bfore the b main and after it there was just a ton of oil. but it ran 225 and great. I just dont want to hurt this engine and I dont know as much as I would like to.There is not alot of talk about RB engines so hoping I will find some here. Thanks

you will get different anwsers about the bearing in a rb. I had a similar problem. I have a s7 l2g. Mine did the same thing, about a gallon the front bearing leaked badly. I changed it with a tko ceramic. But it still leaks a little. I have heard from some that if the front bearing is leaking the bottom is to rich. If your engine is a l2g type it is going to run a little hotter due to the low head

Not sure about others, but at least R3 and T9 (0.12 touring) engines are novarossi based

As far as touring engines. All of them except the Matrix line are Novarossi based. The Matrix line is Sirio based if Im not mistaken.
