I installed Answer RC bearings before last race meet, which I really rate, and yet these are on their way out, and would of been max one hour running.

Funds are a bit short at mo, but once available, i'll be going to a modded hub

No its not. if your replacing it every 10 min you have issues, the stock bearing lasted longer then that.

ive ran 64 min + lots of practice on a set of avids and there great, maintain them and you shouldnt have issues, yes the mod MAY prolong them but if im gettin a gallon+ outta 1$ bearings im fine with that. they still feel brand new

Yea but it takes you 32 min for 1 lap. I maintain my stuff better than most and the stock hubs and bearings SUCK!!! When you get a little faster and more consistent you will understand

well many people have thanked me for advice. if i dont know what im talking about i do not give advice, as far as bearings go MY PERSONAL experience has been good in the 8t2.0, i am thinking about grabing the kh rear hub just for insurance but i dont think its needed. others it may not but hey thats racing. Hopefully your at the track this weekend, your fun to race against, and i agree with you i learn every time i go out to. one thing i wanna ad is its hard passing you because we have the same lines everywhere on that track

i've been running the same set of bearings untouched since i modded the hubs that came on the car. i've done upwards of 15 hours racing on the same rear bearings. so if your content to change them every second meeting then its your wasted money.
My modded om my 8T saw over 6 months of racing without a bearing change.

I dont want to sound like a rude prick, but im fair sick of it being called the J-DUB Hub Mod when it was my idea. It was me who found J-DUB to do it for you in the USA so i didnt have to ship them half way around the world.
I came up with this design back in April last year. So far i've had my idea ripped off by 2 mainstream companies (KH and Integy) who wouldn't even know who to thank for the money they have made off someone elses idea. J-DUB does a great job on the mod and i hold no grudge on him doing the work but even he will tell you its not his mod. I just didnt want people to have to pay for shipping from Australia

Losi made a massive mistake with the release of the 8T 2.0 with the 14mm bearing, and it took the commen racer to fix the problem. Not a pro or an engineer on a 6 figure pay packet.
The big companies have no problems stealing your ideas to line there own pockets but have massive problems giving credit where credit is due.
next time ill copyright the idea and charge them for it.

Anyway continue to contact J-DUB if you live in the states. He does an awsome job.
If you live in the Southern Hemisphere and you need the hubs send me a PM
Dont be tempted to waste your money on the aluminium hubs when the plastic ones will last forever.
