Who's got the Tech Racing 3 piece shaft set? If you have one, please do comment. There is a pic here.

OH...found the image.

I have been told that the next shipment of Tech Racing 3 piece shafts will be the last. It has been discontinued and they are extremely hard to get.

It's already almost impossible to get them now, and the fact that they are gonna discountinue it, that just makes it even harder to get.

I've been trying to purchase some red main drive shafts from all over the world and Tamiya themselves...but no luck so far. Anyone knows where to get one?

Yeah I know how you feel, I tried to get a red shaft for my Surikarn Limited with no success. Tamiya really has not provided any back up for some of the special Items fitted to the Surikarn. It's really disappointing from such a large company.

i need a hand,

i still havent replaced the crappy servo saver that comes with the kit . i had a question about it though, how you you keep it closed? once built if i put it on the servo the top bit can still come off even when the screw is done up?

any ideas

if not im just gonna use a longer screw and put a big washer on the end...

I didn't even try with the standard screw - I used one of the titanium screws that came with the Surikarn.

Cheers, Mark.

Best is replacing the servosaver with a Kimborough KB201. No play at all and no problems.

should work now with that upper disk but try getting the KB201. no play and centers much better. But you have to use the outer hole on the KB.
