It is so tempting to buy a Mini T and use this conversion, because it is awesome.

EDIT: Is the wheelbase on the description axle to axle? If so its 5mm too long for our Nationals

Hmm depends on what you you filed down? Do you mean the mounting tabs? In that case you wouldn't be able to use the alloy servo mounts. You would have to glue it in place with Shoo-Goo. Would fit, just not as clean an install.

Thanks,

Mike

On my tek18x, the steering rack is binding somewhere, ONLY when I attached the drivers side steering hub to the steering rack. It's causing the servo to not be able to center itself after turning the wheels. It's making me nuts. Any help?

Hi, It's good you've isolated it to a specific area. Sounds like it's a pinched ball cup or the steering knuckle is too tight in the castor block. Check to see if the turnbuckles swivel easily. If not then replace ball cups.

Hey all I just bought both a Mini T and the Exotek MXT chassis conversions and while I'm waiting on shipping I wanted to ask does anyone have this setup? If so can you give me some things you like and disliked about the MXT?

Hi,

I've been wanting that new MXB buggy conversion for the losi really bad!

I was wondering though...the website states that any lipo that fits the rc18t fits this. I was curious if anyone owned an mxb and exactly which lipo fit?

The only area of fitment that concerned me was this image:

Makes it look quite tight. I know the dimensions of most lipo's would be slightly larger than a standard stickpack.

Soon? Probably no. Too much reverse engineering , tooling expense for this. The economy is not so hot for a project like this right now. A lot of my resources has gone into the 1/10 market to help off set the seasonality of sales that always happens in the micro market (micro sells good only during the winter months).

Every time I set out to make a Detta part the guys there beat me to the punch, a wide bumper, 18R type suspension, on road conversion, just to name a few. And like I've mentioned several times before (getting to be a broken record here) tooling and production on a Detta off road chassis is neither cheap nor easy. It is generally risky to invest that kind of time and money in a small market company and car. Now, if you want to cut and send a $10k check my way I'll get right on a ST chassis for you
