Team Associated SC8 Setup and Tips

Lighter center diff oil should help ... the thicker the center diff fluid, in theory, the more power gets evenly distributed front and rear. The thinner the fluid, the more the front end will get power and the rear will have less, and should cause the rear from swapping out as it will be more drug around by the front. But in high bite the front end might dig in more and throw the rear around.
With a thick center diff you should have a lot of power out the rear which will make it swap ends easier on power....
I am going to set mine up per a good known RC8 setup and see how that works...5 5 5 all the way. I'll post how it works..

Anyone notice that the clutch bell and spur gear barely touch? Anyone come up with a solution? I tried taking a little metal out of the chassis so I could have more adjustability. It was not enough though and didn't want to get to crazy with the drill and dremel.

Also, what would I have to change to be able to put on the 32mm truggy shocks up front? I would greatly appreicate it if someone could help me out... THANKS

Yeah, 1/10 are tiny. In fact, my SC8 was dwarfed the other day by a Baja 5T. Man, I like those trucks too. That guy didn't have to gas up once in at least 20 minutes. And the engine never died. They seem like very reliable trucks. It may be next on my list. Anyone wanna buy a kidney?

my next set up Im trying to find out is the diff fluids and better servos
