You can use the SR3300T with the handheld unit without needing the on-board telemetry module.

awesome... thanks, I just recieved the elec telm handheld kit, and am having problems getting her up and running on my first car which is running the on board unit and a sr3100 rx to a dx3r, any advice or ideas appreciated!

When on board telem box plugged in to reciever, I managed I thought to get it all to bind lights reacted accordingly. BUT...handheld unit not picking up any signal. Also whenever you turn off the car and then back on again it sends the rx back into bind mode?
I have followed the written instructions, I think! lol tried allot of different stuff but to no avail, my end result is the same, no signal being sent to the handheld or it doesn't appear to be and whenever you turn car off and back on again because on board is plugged into bind battery port on rx it sends the rx into bind mode..... Please Help! lol

Once you're done binding the receiver to the transmitter you'll need to remove the bind plug. You'll also need to bind the handheld unit to the receiver. Check the manual for how to do that.

so the sr3100rx is compatible?, I removed the bind plug as per the manual, and did the bind on the handheld, but with the on board unit plugged in to the bind port of the rx sends the rx back into bind mode everytime switched on...
Plugged in the sr3300t worked first go, and after redaing a prior post you state the sr3000 sr3001 and the sr3300t are the only compat rx's with on board telem...would really like to be running the sr3100 dsm2 but doesn't seem to wanna work?

Ok, wait a sec...

The ONLY receivers compatible with telemetry are:
SR3000
SR3001
SR3300T

If you're trying to use the SR3100, that's the problem right there.

Also you don't use the SPM1325 with the SR3300T, it's built into it.

Yep, got the gear working last night with the sr3300t, understood you don't need the on board unit with the 3300rx...Thanks for your replies, appreciate it. That kinda sucks though.lol
Thanks again
