dude, the servo saver is adjustable. So if its scratching the chassis just turn the nut, tightening it, so that its not binding.

If the servo saver nut is working it's way loose, use thread-locking compound to keep it in place.

i have never raced, but if i do i'll take out the side one or just get a new roll cage. i was kinda thinking of getting one to paint so then i could have a "custom" cage.

Do you like 10 10 7?

Looking at most of the RC8 setups most people seem to run 7 5 3, or 5 5 5....seems that SC8 would be similar, I'd think 10 in the center would make it diff out real bad in the rear?

I am going to try 5 5 5 next time and see how I like it.

My truck has been working well enough so I haven't felt like changing anything, but now it is in need of some maintenance I think it's about time to experiment myself.

What are you running for shock oil?

Also on a unrelated note, after 6 gallons my Pro28 ate a rear bearing...but the truck hasn't needed a bit of major work or had any breakage...

Well, I'm still to nooby to be messin with shock oil & diff levels. I'm still learning the idle, HSN, LSN, etc. How many of you are running the stock pipe? If not, what do you run, and is there much of a performance gain? I'd like to get a little more speed into this truck if possible.
On a side note - I ran dead straight, WOT, into a tree today and busted both of the lower front bumper mounts. But everything is still intact. This truck really takes a beating, especially in my hands.

did a mod to my rear fenders. cut them and made it so they could fall off if hit hard or i roll a couple times. they turned out sweet, i think. you cant even tell that there cut when there on. ran them the other day at this track and it was still muddy and wet, they did great and when they got covered in mud they started falling off little by little when i would hit the jumps. and when i run it with no fenders it throws up cool ruster tails.

will lighter center diff help?
Lighter center diff oil should help ... the thicker the center diff fluid, in theory, the more power gets evenly distributed front and rear. The thinner the fluid, the more the front end will get power and the rear will have less, and should cause the rear from swapping out as it will be more drug around by the front. But in high bite the front end might dig in more and throw the rear around.

With a thick center diff you should have a lot of power out the rear which will make it swap ends easier on power....

I am going to set mine up per a good known RC8 setup and see how that works...5 5 5 all the way. I'll post how it works..
