Thats not good...I put some heavier oil in my shocks..40 front and 35 rear and it lands beautifully now with just a slight thud( if you know what I mean
) and off it goes again..could be youres is bottoming out harshly or the way you are landing..just a thought..is it cold there as its end of our summer here so still quite warm so plastic might be more brittle over there

No the problem comes from the wheels hitting the arms when pushed beyond full lock. This can happen very easily. Simply rubbing a tube can cause this. I am not the only one with this problem. Actually the majority of people are having the same issue as me. I know of atleast 3 other guys at my track that have the exact same problem. And with all different brands of rims too.

just looked at my front wheels and they are mint and barely a mark on the arms..proline rims with VP pro tyres and have run them last 2x club days.
Dont worry I hit the pipes to but we use the flexy drainage stuff so it does give a bit..well inbetween the pegs anyway

servo saver set up is the only thing I can think of that would be different..do you run the 1.0 or 2.0 spring?

I've cracked my front wheels as well. I don't crash a lot, but did have one nice cartwheel during the last practice session which I think contributed to one of them. I've never cracked a wheel on my 1.0, so there is definately an issue here.
I have yet to grind the arms, and simply dremmeled the ribs inside the wheels to clear.

Ya know I read all this and I have yet to test mine on the local track. I have have done all the mods and cant frigging wait to moto this thing, (Injured mxer) our track has switched from the indoor to the out door this week and in norcal we have been flooded with rain. So it'll probably sit on the work bench another weekend

My track is pretty tame compared to the ones you drive on. THAT IS WHY i DON'T HAVE THE SAME ISSUES<stupid caps to lazy to retype> as some of you with the rims cracking. My rims are in tip top shape and I ran a race on a set of advids with no problems with the bearing after. I didn't grind my arms, I let the rims do it lol. I run the +2 hubs as well.
