My Jammin X2 measure 16 3/4 inches wide from the outside of the wheels. I don't see any problems with the Losi guy's running a little wider hub if it helps out the rubbing issues. I really can't see any loss regarding on-track performance.

Losi is forever my fav. Brand and all...but WHY would they send out a truck with some problems wrong with it from factory...especially since some members said they KNEW their was something wrong with them....8T 2.0 is a beast...but has to have work done to it before even going to the track.

I am sure I will regret this but I have to do it.

I have'nt seen or heard anything carved in stone online or in magazines but I think it would be safe to say that since the RTR 2.0 B has been released that the RTR 2.0 T shouldn't be too far behind.

Yeeeah! I finally read all 126 pages!!
I went to the track and made one lap before my shock end popped off.. What is the difference in the shock retaining clip from 1.0 to 2.0? They are different part numbers but looking at them they seem the same.. I put the 1.0's on to get back up and running until my parts com from losi..
I am also a total newb to the racing world.. so I don't know anything about setups. Are you guys changing your shock oil/springs/sway bars??

Everyone here was at one point
Buddy, you need to run the 1.0 shock ends instead of the new ones, same goes for the servo saver spring(use a 1.0 truggy spring). You should also hit up J-DUB via pm for some modded hubs so you wont have to deal with a dnf due to a 8x14 bearing failure. Also look at the illustrations above that go over the dremeling of the front arms. The 2.0 spring retainers are fine to my knowledge. My truck will be here today(Im basing everything off of info I have gathered here or from my friend who runs the truck) I plan on running box stock chassis setup, fluids and swaybars to start with, I will be racing it this Saturday @ Jtec in Illinois. I heard its really good out of the box in factory race roller form........just do the normal preventetive maintenance before you hit the track again.......good luck man and enjoy this wonderful hobby/sport........remember, its all about having fun and meeting new people

cheers! TW

There is nothing wrong with the new 2.0 shock ends. The ones from the factory were put on by some type of machine and heated the plastic up. Nothing is wrong with them, just the way there were put on.
