does teh onyx come with a balancer ?

no, and thats why you buy quality lipos, I have almost 100 cycles on my true rc packs and the voltage is within .001 diffrence when discharged to 6.5v.... I never balanced them

Thats another good point though. The number of cells. I run 10 scale onroad to I'm using 2 cell packs. The onyx works out perfectly for me. Though I do use a balancer as well.
