After running the STRR for the last year and a half, I think it's time for something new, and the 8T 2.0 looks to be the ticket! So, when ordering the truck, I need to order the following right away?
- new shock ends
- alum servo arm
- center smart diff (why not, right?!)
Anything else?

I would also change the stock wheel bearings as a few are blowing them. I just changed mine and 3 of the 4 smaller bearing were griddy after one club race outting.
I also switched to aka rims, the stock rims rub the knuckles a little too much for my liking.

One more thing, is the clutch the same as it was on the original 8ight? Just wondering as am going to order extra shoes (KHZ) and springs if so...I take it a 3x2 hump pack for the batt?

The clutch is the same as the older 8ights. I'm running the losi long wear shoes, after 3 race days they still look new with losi silver springs. I run a 2500 hump back, but you will have to dremel the bottom for it to fit.

Ran my new 2.0 for the first time today. What a great truck!
Quick question for you guys who have been running this new 2.0. What starter box are you using?
Will this one work? http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/13246
Thanks

That’s nitro racing sometimes its not how fast you are or who TQ'ed but who finishes the race. I'm sure you have seen it too 10 to 12 drivers start the A-Main and at the end there are only 2-3 drivers who finish.

Raced my 8t 2.0 today for the first time and made the A-main. Unfortunately, the servo saver broke.
The truck handles great. Very happy with it thus far. I just wish it wasn't a race roller. No I have to take the car apart completely, so I know how to work on it.
