just and idea.
i run an sp set up with a m11 radio and have used the reverse function in testing only but i noticed u have to go break neutral brake to get reverse if u dont get neautral it wont work and if u get forward it wont work so check your trim ie is trim at the esc neutral point and also maybe try widening your esc deadband. just some ideas to try before sending it off.
use the lights in the esc to check if its the 120amp which i believe is my sp gt v1.1 at a cheaper price

OK, I have changed radios from a 3PM to the 2PH and lo and behold reverse has returned. So it is a radio setting on the 3PM. Now I just have to work out which setting it is. I did change the neutral range on the trigger to 6 degrees so I will change that back to 12 degrees and see if that works then have a go at trim and any other suggestions people have made to try. But I think I agree with one of the comments above that it is a programming issue, as the trim or neutral range shouldn't affect the operation of the reverse function.

Any other suggestions would be welcomed.

Nick

Gentlemen, we have reverse!!! Yee haa!

I reset the esc back to factory settings then set max reverse force to 30%, it had been on drag brake, and the neutral range to 9% and BINGO we have reverse.

I am assuming it was the neutral range setting, because I can't imagine why a reverse setting would negate reverse.

I am SO HAPPY - I was sure it was another dodgy Venom Speedy!

Thank you to all who offered advice and hope I can reciprocate one day.

Cheers,

i know it seems weird but it is possible for trim to upset not being able to get reverse.
