How does the FM.21 run with 20%.. Do you have to do anything with the head shims? Glow plugs?

I had the EB FM gen.1, then got the pre-run gen.2 and the there is a slight difference but the power seems much more linear, i really like it!

actually on my .24 eb mod your right ed there were shims. just too many of them thats why i had no top end. there are supposed to be 2 shims not four, thus causing no top end. but of course ed would deny it had four shims or he had anything to do with it.

Default extech FM 24

well I've made up my mind i'm getting the FM 24. Hopefully its' the factory mod and not the EB mod. Is there a way to tell the difference in the two. If I receive the EB version I'm sending it back. I don't want to go down that road... lol.

Hi All,

1) IF anyone has a problem with a Trinity engine whether it is a EB or new one. It has to come to us for warranty. Dont know why Ed posted that. He does not work for us anymore. If anyone decides to send him a engine since his departure from Trinity. I will not be able to replace or fix if something were to happen to it.

2) Shims

.21 Pre Run Head Shims = .038"
.21 fully Modified Head Shims = .028"
.24 Pre Run and .24 Fully Modified Head Shims = .020"

this is for 30% fuel

3) Bottomline - There are no more EB modified engines at the factory. We have not had them for a long time. I know Amain has purchased a lot of the 2.0 Extech's..

the .24 would be an excellent choice in your truggy. Our .24 is more powerful than a O.S.
