I didn't quite say THAT.. losi racer.

I said that supposedly they were supposed to ship around the 20th. This was last i heard when i placed my truck on backorder. I also made it clear that this was just a "rough estimate"..

also, are there any default upgrades that needs to be done with the 8ight-t 2.0? or is there anything i need to look out for that existed in the 1.0 that may not be fixed in the 2.0?

the 8t 2.0 is ready to go out of the box.. no need to upgrade anything imho.

any new news on the release or ship date?

Horizon still shows the date of 1/29 so it looks concrete. I talked to Adam today and he said "most likely" that Losi would ship them to Horizon in Illinoise this friday(23rd). Since Losi is with Horizon in Ontario once Illinoise gets them it should be good to go. I think the original date is still gonna be good.

You guys better make sure to get your pre orders in so your in on the initial shipments and the low prices out there

the kit says the losi has longer arms with offset wheels. what does that mean, offset wheels? will my AKA rims deter from the intended setup?

The 1.0 used 1/2 offsets and the new truck uses 0 offsets. So the aka wheels are the right offset.

what does offset mean?

Offset is basically where the tire sits in relation to the hex. 1/2 offset places the tire half way over the arms and half way away from the center of the truck. 0 offset places all of the tire over the arms. It basically changes the width of the truck.

The offset of a vehicle's wheel is the distance between the centerline of the wheel and the plane of the hub-mounting surface of the wheel.

The AKA rims are zero offset just like the 8T 2.0.
