Thanks for your concern!

I have the piston/sleeve/rod/crank/button...all have EB Mods sticker on the original OS packaging. Im pretty sure the only EB piece Im missing is the backplate, and I have the speed backplate to take its place...is there anything else Im missing that you know of?

Ive had the parts sitting around for a while now...almost a year. Why I got them is a long story, but a guy I know worked at a now out of business online hobby shop, he got me a killer deal on everything...

cool! sounds like you got everything you need, except the back plate. you should try to get your hands on a EB back plate. The Speed BP is no better then the stock. The EB BP will help rep the benefits of the other mods.

I know Ed cuts on the backplate to create more case volume...just couldnt find a EB backplate at the time.

ANYONE GOT ONE???

Ive been toying around with the idea of using the JX case to build my EB Frankenspec...

Well thank god i got all of ed's modified back plates! LOL! CJM try the head button on your speed motor, you won't believe the difference. I put the head button & back plate on my freshened up speed motor can't believe the difference. Ed told me to run the 9mm venturi but it takes flight halfway down the straight.

I'm still waiting to see this head button for sale somewhere, thought I'd see it on tonysscrews.com by now.

Do you guys have any feedback regarding the the associated pipe on this motor?

I know the OS is really popular but I was mentioned this one at my LHS and was looking for some feedback.

the associated pipe works really good on it, any pipe that works good on a vspec will work good on this engine

I broke the motor in with a Novarossi 9866 EFRA and I'm not sure if that is a good combo. It seems like it's restricting the motor on the top end, it sounds congested.

i tried a 9886 on the vspec and i didnt really care for it, you wll like the 2035 associated/ttr, or a 2060 would work really well also
