barts71m,
Not sure you can send the motor anywhere to get the etching. Might just have to bite the bullet and purchase a legally marked motor.
Like Tony, I have a heap of Mini gear that I tested which is now illegal to use. I will be doing as itchyb said and use in my 4WD Mini.
Concerning batteries, I would only consider purchasing or using those approved by ROAR, saves a lot of heartache in the end. With the new BL systems, using LIpo's after a 5 min heat you are only using 1400 Milliamps. So they are also frugal on the batteries. Takes about 20 min max for a recharge.
Tony thanks for the aussie mini thread.
Regards,
Calvin.

Fast ?????, i dont think so. I run a B/L last night at the Hill, although TQ and first (later DQ but that agreed to) second was another B/L, BUT ...the whole field, i think 6 or 7 cars, ALL did 11 second laps, so in the end, B/L system is the SAME as 23 turn, just some drivers get the shits if they roll or prang and then take 2 laps to get back into it.
BOB
PS, Mounty, SMA also have 2 X 2008 National Champs, not 0 as you have in your sig. C.H won a few concourses as well, that makes them Champs as well.

The problem was that i run the speedo FULL % speed, the thing was still wheel spinning at the end of the straight, but it was good fun, thats why i didnt back off. Fastest lap of the night, TQ and first, why back off ?????

It's done..it's over...After about 100+ hours...and 4 billion cups of coffee
Finally the all-new rc-mini site is up and running.
Still the same old crap that you've read before, but now it's in an all new format that's easier to read, and easier to navigate as well. And it means that updates can now happen more frequently too!
Check it out at the usual place.

Excellent job Tony,(the chief web poobah) and TonyP. I can understand the long hours required to update the site.
The side bar improves the searching function of the site and I am looking forward to the new racing MO3 article when it is finished.
Great to see so many excellent looking Mini's in the gallery.
Congratulations on a job well done. Might have to submit some photo's of Jeff's excellent paintwork on my cars.
