it sure does i used to have a long header on my nova 9886 pipe and gave it heaps of bottom end punch as well as the top end, it is a tuning aid if required

Similarly, if you want to tame a strong bottom end motor like the the 5 Port, use a shorter header on say the 0801 pipe for more smoothness

hey ya'll,
I recently changed buggies. I'm now in a RC8. this buggy is of course lighter than the LX-1. I'm sure the performance will severly increase. I use a jp-4 pipe on my .21 5port. WHat pipe do you RC8 drivers use.....Keep in mind I live in Georgia. The climate may be different. If someone uses the different venturi's what size is commonly used

thks for the info. grizz1,i should do more testing ur right,it depends on my driving style,& da track that im racing,i lov my 3r so far ,but its just that im (still)lacking bottom currently have the RC8T,& my friend suggest me to use 13th cb for more bottom,instead of 14th ,the track im racing i would say medium track reason cause we got the 140ft straight way,i really dont want to suffer yhe topend

Whats the jp-3 on the 7 port like got a couple of headers here and was going to do some testing but have a jp-3 what do you think on a 7 port in truggy or 5 port in truggy? I have a 7 and a 5 port which one would be reccomended in the truck and buggy pipes and all just lookin for some advise on this matter.

I need some help. I'm trying to break in my GO .25 6 Port. I can't get the gas to the carb without taking the pressure tube off the header and blowing the fuel into the carb. When I'm trying to start it and squeeze the throttle the gas actually pushes out of the carb. I've sealed the backplate and the bottom of the carb with sealant. I got the black two needle carb. When I do get it started and can rev it, as soon as I remove the glow plug igniter it cuts off. I heat the head with a blow dryer and wrap the head with foil to get the temps up.

5 Port in the truck and 7 port in the buggy for sure.
5 Port try the new GO 0801 pipe (ballistic) or if your on a budget go for the Dynamite 086 (pretty close to ballistic).
7 Port again try the new GO 0801 pipe (ballistic), the GO 2047 pipe with longer header (ballistic) or again if on a budget go for the Dynamite 053 (pretty close to ballistic)
