If you're looking for scoops, check out OOC Racing :-

http://www.oocrcracing.com/

I've got bodies with them on and they look really cool.

That is neat. Thanks for posting it. But actually I was thinking about the HPI shells Like the Cuda, Some of them had differrent hood scoops. It would be neat if you could get the exact scoop to portray a differrent car.

In my last post I was thinking specifically of the Javelin. If the scoop is the only differrence. Then make it available as a separate piece.

But I dont make shells and that might be a lot harder to do than I think it is.

Default JaveMaro

Here's my attempt to make the HPI Camaro look like a Javelin. Yes I got the blue and red colors a bit wrong but a lot of people still recognize the Donohue color scheme when they see it at the track. People enjoy seeing it.

The chassis underneath is a TA-05.

This body has been through thirteen races and is still holding together pretty well. When the time comes to do a new body, I'll try to get the colors closer to correct and to make the front bumper flip-up ends a bit bigger.

Default Mark Donohue Javelin

Here are the photos of Mark Donohue's car that I worked from in painting the JaveMaro. The Javelin photos I've seen from classic car racing use brighter shades of blue and red than Donohue's car did. My car's red is 20 drops Faskolor red, one drop Faskolor yellow, one drop Faskolor black. The blue is 20 drops Faskolor blue, one drop Faskolor black.

I was thinking that I found some numbers but I remember its actually those goodyear stickers. You know the ones that everyone likes to put on their tires. Let me see if I can find those.

Love the Pantera.

OK heres the sticker sheets from Mcallister Racing. They even have the sponsor stickers that go down the side.

The D-drive english shop has the ones that the local VTA guys like to put on their tires. If you didnt get an early HPI Camaro and you want the good year stickers for your tires then you need these. http://d-drivesportsenglish.com/inde...products_id=70

Thats what I was shooting for. In person the gunmetal stripes on the hood are a perfect match for the gunmetal wheels.
Thanks for the comments.
