We have tested the jp1-2 and 4 and none were to our liking at all the one just was not there at all the 2 had grate top end but that was it and did not get good milage none of them did actly the 4 had a dead spot just as the engine comes off idle and starts to try to run after the dead spot is has good power but that makes it hard to drive and as i sayed they all dont get that good of milage now the nova 9853 is our favorite but hard to get now and not race able as of 09 for big races the sirio 2013 it s very good pipe that you can run in 09 it makes good power and is smooth and gets ok milage as well.. that makes me very happy to hear you will be very happy with it and if you need ay help at all let us know we would be happy to help out

hmmmmm... If you check everything & theres nothing on the car binding/hanging up, it just may be an air leak. It don't have to be wet to be leaking! Seal it up if you haven't already...
Or like wingracer said below depending what kind of car it's in...

wingracer: Try heavier clutch springs or lighter shoes. Clutch problems can cause all kinds of low end tuning problems.

I too have the RC8. Are you using the stock flywheel/clutch set up?!
I tried the mugen flywheel/clutch on it & it felt real good but when I was racing under flex it would just touch the rear brake disk &/or chassis & stop the engine. So needless to say I went back to the stock set-up...
