Can anyone w/an X-Ray (T2 007 Eu) share there Envesco Field setup.
I am trying to get it together for the race on the 22nd.
Wheres a good place to get parts?
Tires? foam or rubber?
Gearing for a Novak 10.5?
Minimum weight?
Sorry for all the questions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

dowg, xray is notorious for doing the research on setup. the box stock setup is the best place to start. tires are tricky but a set of sorex 32's (rubber) is most common in the summer. for parts, hobbytown westminister carries a fair amount, but i would go to ashfordhobby.com, robert does alot to help the club. your rollout for a 10.5 should be around 1.65. and min weight is roar 1525 g.

I would recommend starting with the stock setup and tweaking from there. We all drive differently...I can try and find my setup sheet for the 007 car if not I know Mike Donavan has my old car and has been running it very well out at Invesco. I will be out at Invesco at the next race which I think is the 22nd. Feel free to post here for more help. I believe there are more Xrays here then any other brand so help is plentiful....gearing I have no clue on as my car is setup with mod. Parts if HT doesnt have it I might all I ask is to replace it when you get the chance. If I have it I'll just give it to you. Gearing Im sure someone will chime in that runs 10.5 out there.

Hobby Town Westminster has a bunch of Xray parts, but that is really it locally. Stormer hobbies on-line has a lots too.

Rubber tires:
Sorex 32 and 36 will be good for ya going forward

Foams tires:
Only cheaters run foam tires on pavement

Gearing:
I am running 84 (48P) spur and 28 pinion with a Novak 10.5 and a GTB
Final Drive=5.1

Minimum weight:
1525 Grams for rubber tire

PM me your email address and I will send a setup that will be a good place to start...

Also let me know if you have any other questions...

Well, the TC4 is alive. I need to get a spur/pinion that is more in range for that Invesco track as I only have gears for my old Rustlers right now (AKA: not even close). And I need to get tires for it. Have to wait for payday Friday for the tires.

BTW, does anyone run 1/12 on road? Just wondering since I have always thought those were pretty cool.

Really? Oh man, I have always wanted to try that. I'm guessing my wallet will take a dent once cooler weather rolls around. Not that it hasn't trying to get my TC4 ready.

What do you guys recommend for 1/12 cars?

Wow, that's a lot of different manufacturers/vehicles to sort through! I'm guessing everyone has their favorite for one reason or another. Guess I better do my homework. One more thing, what are CORRC's class rules for 1/12 as far as motors/batteries? Only info I could find on the site was for the Summer season and 1/10.

Thanks for the info, Grenade!

Nu Blackshirt-Not to butt in, but we've ran 4cell Brushed or Brushless. Primarily Stock and 19 turn. Mainly based on ROAR's rules...
