You can also use it together with the programmable mixes etc. In some boat aplications it is nice to have a fourth channel.
At $500 (Tower) I wouldn't mind seeing a 2 or 3 channel version that's a little easier on the wallet. Since I only race 10th scale electric, I never have a need for 3 let alone 4 channels. The price tag may keep me from this radio. We'll see I guess.

I wouldn't get my hopes up I just got back from the Reedy race and not one driver was using a 4pk.

Considering we've known what this thing has looked like since last year lets hope this delay is going to give us a new feature at least.

There was demo version was at the birds in Feb, programing was nice like the 3pks.

Futaba won't put an inferior product on the market, they will make sure it is right before it's released.

I wonder if the delay is due to the heat-shutdown issue with the receivers. Maybe Futaba is trying to sort out the problem before releasing it.

The 4PK will switch for lefties. It's very light even with the stock battery installed. Looks a little funky but you get used to it. It also comes with the Hara trigger for those of you who have smaller fingers or like a tighter feel for push braking.
Does the Hara trigger come pre-installed?

Also, could the Hara trigger be installed on a 3PK?

I'm starting to think they put out the model to see if it would generate a buzz. once they got enough backorders, then they actually started developing it. It's annoying waiting for this to release, I need a new transmitter now!! That new Spektrum is looking more interesting by the day.
