I wish you would actually review the engines, as in track and dyno testing..Do you even run any of these engines ?

Uriah Murnan might be able to help with that one.

He doesn't have to. Everyone knows that his engines are fast.
He's using his self built dyno to improve his engines, not to show off.

Stefan, you are correct. My dyno is for my own R&D, not for advertising. I was not going to post any dyno #'s. The reason is that you can make the dyno say whatever you want.

I can make a more powerful engine, but then fuel mileage, and ease of tuning goes down hill quickly. This is a good compromise between increased power, and good reliability.

The #'s may be hard to read so they are as follows

Stock Alpha
HP= 2.30
Torque = 74.33 Oz in

Modified Alpha
HP = 2.44
Torque = 81.38 Oz in

If you want to lie and deceive everyone yes u could make runs read higher.... But it will end up biting u in the rear in the long run... As you know there are 3 files per run that has all your settings for the runs. With this you can tell if anything was altered to make the modified version read higher.... So anyone with this software would know this and be a fool to post untrue results and get called out on it. And for the record I DO NOT believe you have done this.

I have posted dynos to show my work so I can prove to the public I'm not selling snake oil modifications. I think this is a huge benefit to my customers and to the public to see what these engines REALLY do. It's not just all about bragging rights. It's about showing your customers REAL unbiased results from your hard work and R&D.

Uriah I would actually like to see those files from these runs or at least talk to you about your dyno. And in noway am I saying you have messed with it to read higher.... this is not why I want to see the files so don't get me wrong. I would simply like to see how your dyno is setup and compare it to the way the X-Dyno is setup. The information will be kept confidential of course. I am honestly interested in how your dyno is setup as its not an X-Dyno but I see you are using the same software... I would like to see how close our HP figures are from engine to engine compared to the X-Dyno.

And you are right when u stated that u could make a more powerful engine but fuel consumption, power under the curve and tune start to be sacrificed. I totally agree with you there thats for sure. As a modifier you have to look at all these aspects and not just peak power gains. I would also like to give you props on the work you have done to this engine. It's ALOT harder to gain good reliable power out of these high strung on road mills then people realize. Just putting some cuts here and there just doesnt cut the cake if you know what im saying.

Thanks for the dyno results... that motor has a very nice powerband.... looks like you got good gains right across the whole RPM range. !!!!!
