Swap fuels..... Byron's, Tornado, Maxy's and give that a try..... maybe one range colder... C8TF. 25% is more than enough Nitro. You should be a ble to handle up to 250F with no problem. Are any of the rods loose? That will cause you to eat plugs like candy.
I'm running 0.9mm up north in 70- 80F temps. You may need another tenth to be safe. Any detonation pitting?

I can't swap fuel, I still have plenty O'Donnell fuels 25%.
Any detonation pitting ? yes, the surface of the piston & underhead look like moon.

Both engines should run well around 110°C.

Hi guys i just got a Novarossi PLus 12 3CT Tuned.
Do novarossi sign "tuned" on the back of there crankshafts? i remember once seeing a crank signed "tuned" on the back.
What % fuel do these engines come shimmed for?

hi guys. i'm running the ns3 for the its 3rd race few weeks back.
previous 2 races i got a decent runtime between 5'30" - 6 min. but at the recent race it just make the 5 minute mark
during the finals i have to come in around 4'30" -4'45". more than that i will run out of fuel .
here's some facts - different track,different fuel ( still 16% like the previos), same engine , same pipe, same plug, same head shim..even the setups for the clutch gap and spring tension r identical, the performance were quite the same..just some gearing changes to suit the track and a bit of fine tuning ofcoz.
.any one can shed me some light

This weekend was the US open and man what a race. I had a good time and some really good racing. I was on top for most of the event but had to settle for second place. Out of the 6 rounds I won 4. Paolo was able to take it with a good run in the cool of the day, getting me by 1 second. Do to the rain we did not get to run the mains. Paolo was also running a Nova based engine. It was evident that the Nova based motors where the motors to beat. Thanks to Novarossi for the great support and awesome products. Till next race.

If I'm not mistaken again, some people interpret short vs long glow plug with the retain heat capability they carry. Long body will retain heat longer thus you get hotter engine temp, and vice versa.

If I'm not mistaken, The short type is AS IF you are using 1 more shim, thus slightly you get milder compression. The long type is normal compression.
