The Tech Racing mini dampers come with a chart. The springs are Blue, white & Black however, no silver.

blue = hard
white = med
black = soft

A Joke Cal?

I assure you this is no joke. It's cutting edge setup advice.

You wont find anyone else telling you stuff like this!

A little-known improvement to the quench-hardening springs hint is to cool the spring in the saliva on your tongue. "Thry it...it workth"

I'm a little confused by which ones were jokes and which were legit, but the one about cutting every other diff gear tooth, that kinda looked like a recipe for little pieces fouling your gears up? You can see the little fragments it leaves behind.

yeah - you need to make sure you dont chip any of the 'good' teeth, and make sure you completely remove the other teeth, give it a good clean with a toothbrush or similar to get all the shavings out so they dont clog up the gearbox.

LOL!

So Tony, do you recommend the mint or strawberry Mentos? OR!, could you use diet soda vs. regular? I'll have to do extesive testing to find out what has the most carbonation too, as this seems to assist in the molecular bonding of the soda to the brushes.

Damn, thats one of the funniest articles I've read on the web for ages.
You guys are just nuts. Brilliant stuff.

I love the toe-out, toe-in thing so they both point the same way...

You know I almost believed some of them....

One of our local racers actually pulled off the "clip off every other tooth on the spur to make it faster" on one of our other more gullible racers. To see that guy scratch his head and wonder why the car wasn't working was priceless! (btw- he was given a replacement spur for the one he hacked up)
