will i have a problem

Hey i have a velineon brushless setup for my rc10t4 and when i installed it i used too long of a screw and it went into the windings i think. When i pulled it out it had a little copper on the end of it. Will this effect the motor at all?

This might sound like a stupid answer but what's done is done, might as well drive it and find out. However, if the motor is jammed, don't keep on the power trying to make it go; might damage the ESC that way.

If you actually got into the windings, you may have cut into the coating that is on the wire. If so, it may run for a while but it may suddenly go up in smoke and take the ESC with it. It could create a dead short and that will ruin everything. I would have someone inspect it that is familiar with electric motor construction.
