will i have a problem
Hey i have a velineon brushless setup for my rc10t4 and when i installed it i used too long of a screw and it went into the windings i think. When i pulled it out it had a little copper on the end of it. Will this effect the motor at all?

how long were the screws you used , does the motor spin by hand , cant you just take the motor apart and check it , ray

after i pulled the screw out it still spins good except for a little bit of roughness at some times. It will still run though?

I would take the endbell off and see if you cut any wires in the motor. If you olny cut one you could try to solder it back together.

If you actually got into the windings, you may have cut into the coating that is on the wire. If so, it may run for a while but it may suddenly go up in smoke and take the ESC with it. It could create a dead short and that will ruin everything. I would have someone inspect it that is familiar with electric motor construction.
