I don't have enough knowledge to know if a different type of clutch will work or not. It just didn't get enough speed up to grab and go. It was just pure slip. I am yet to try out if the 14T bell works with the M/T tires or not. I think the 20T was simply too tall for the extra wheel size.

I have been pondering on how else I could get this to work and I am thinking of setting up a twin engine set up on it, both with 20T bells on a small drive gear and the M/T tires. This will give twice the power and twice the clutch friction surface. I just don't know how I will pull this off or even if it will be worth it. The set up of getting 2 engines tuned and going and how to get the throttle set up working ect, I just don't know if it would work well enough to bother.

Or have a 2 speed gear, this might be the better way to go and might be better for the clutch.

I do how ever want to make a vid that is funny and cool to watch. Would be good to have some one else with an rc car that car keep up with mine and have 2 in the Vid on the freeway.

You defiantly need a tranny. My old 1/8th on road car can pull 100km per hour no problem but it uses a 2 speed to get there, there are even on-road setups that use 3 speed boxes, best thing about the on road setups are that the gears are on the clutch bell so could easily be modified to fit other cars.
Other than that you could look at using a savage tranny coz they have a 3 speed inside them. Make up some modified gears and you could get a massive final drive number with a nice transition zone to get there without killing clutches
